I once did a picture of Ein from the anime series "Cowboy Bebop". Based on that picture, a young man asked me to do a portrait of his dog Gordi, which would be a surprise for his wife at Christmas. He gave me a photograph of this sweet faced animal and I created the image, framed it and sent it off. He sent an email saying she loved it and couldn't believe he had managed to get her such a surprise gift without her finding out about it.
