A mysterious, fascinating and mischevious animal, the Kitsune is enshrined as a god in Japan because of its supernatural power and its endowment with the art of metamorphosis. This piece was in my Animal Spirit show and some were surprised to learn that these fox spirits were embodiments of the 'amoral', neither good nor evil. They are emotional and vengeful towards those that have wronged them, but kind and affectionate to those that have earned their trust.
