The Hunter

According to Welsh tradition, the stag is one of the five oldest
animals. The figure of an antlered man is seen in the legend of
Herne the Hunter and Cernunnos. He is often associated with both
fertility and hunting. He is seen as the Lord of the Wild Hunt,
which carries the spirits of the dead to the Otherworld. This
piece from my Animal Spirit was requested by a local store to
sell as prints. |
