Another piece from my Animal Spirits show. This comes from China where the crane is, after the Pheonix, the most important bird in Chinese legend and art. The crane is believed to be immortal and is associated with wisdome and longevity.

I tried to recreate the feel of the Chinese prints I saw when looking into the subject matter.
